Black Eye Relief

Beat Those Blisters

It never fails. You get your son a new pair of shoes every Christmas and a few days later he has a new blister on his foot. The shoes fit perfectly and they are very comfortable, so why the blister? Relax. It’s the fact that the shoes are new and his feet are simply not used to them.

Don’t Scratch That Itch

All of a sudden you find that you are itchy. You can’t figure out why, so you start to back track your steps. Did you come in contact with poison ivy or something that you are allergic to? Did you get bit by a bug of some sort? These are the typical causes of an itch.

We Love Our Kids, But Not Our Stretch Marks

Stretch marks can be very embarrassing. No one wants them, but let’s face it…..if you have had children you more than likely have a few stretch marks that you wish would go away. There are, of course, other causes of stretch marks like fluctuation in weight (gaining and losing weigh causes stretch marks too).

Strike Back at Cracked Lips

Chapped or cracked lips can get out of control if not taken care of right away. Sometimes the lips crack and bleed, which can be very painful. Causes can include over exposure to the cold or windy conditions, over exposure to the sun, allergies, dehydration and frequent use of soaps and other chemicals.

Herpes is sometimes referred to as the “hippy” disease. It widely spread during the 1970’s when everyone was preaching, “Love, not war.” It’s more common than people want to believe and is not the end of the world. Herpes is a common viral infection and it is contagious. It’s caused by the herpes simplex virus.
